Legendary American piano player/composer Andrew Hill (June 30, 1931 - April 20, 2007) lived an active and fruitful life leaving us a legacy of unique, enigmatic music. Hill, however, disappeared from the scene for about a decade in the late '60s. This album and its predecessor 'Invitation' released in the mid '70s paved his way back to the limelight he deserved.
