Martha Argerich has been an outstanding Chopin interpreter for decades. Reason enough for Deutsche Grammophon to present a selection of its Chopin solo and concert recordings in a deluxe vinyl box on the occasion of it's 80th birthday on June 5. The limited and numbered 5 LP box combines the outstanding interpretations of Argerich in the best vinyl quality on 180g, manufactured by Optimal. These include the two piano concertos conducted by Claudio Abbado and Mstislaw Rostropowitsch, all of the preludes, a number of mazurkas, scherzi, polonaise and other solo works in recordings from 1960 to 1980.
