The Silver Gymnasium' is Okkervil River's seventh full length album and an autobiographical record of frontman Will Sheff's childhood in Meriden, New Hampshire in the 1980's. The album's title is taken from the Charles Lewis Silver Memorial Gymnasium found in Meriden's Kimball Union Academy, the boarding school that Sheff attended.
