Following on from his award winning debut solo EP The Art of Disappearing, Pa Sheehy announces his next EP ‘Lost In A ‘90s Arcade’ on Paragon Records out June 9th 2023.
It features the recent single "Meet Me At The Record Store" which carries strong feelings of nostalgia as the songwriter recalls his teenage visits to a local record store, flicking through albums old and new, including a reference to Bowie’s Hunky Dory. Written by Sheehy with co-writing input from both Chris Breheny and Antoine Cotton, the song was produced by former Ordinary Boys guitarist Dane Etteridge.In Pa’s own words:“Meet Me At The Record Store is the idea of going back in time and meeting my younger self to see what he’s like. I wonder if that eureka moment hearing Bowie in that old record store never happened, who would I be?”
