English singer Sheila Chandra, formerly of world/pop trio Monsoon, embarked on a solo career following that band's dissolution in the mid-Eighties. 1992's 'Weaving My Ancestors' Voices' was her sixth solo effort, and the first in a spiritually charged trilogy that explored her Indian ancestry.
