Following the success of 1981's 'We'll Bring the House Down', Slade continued their new found resurgence with 'Till Deaf Do Us Part'. The album features the single 'Lock Up Your Daughters' as well as other tracks that were to become staples of the Slade live set over the years including 'Rock and Roll Preacher' (which became the band's new opener), plus the likes of 'Ruby Red' and 'Knuckle Sandwich Nancy'.
