Canadian musician and visual artist Alexandra Hughes - a.k.a. Allie X - preps her third official full-length. Eschewing any outside collaborations in favour of an entirely self-produced affair, 'Girl With No Face' is ostensibly in love with the technology and sounds of early Eighties pop and dance, but overcomes the inherent restrictions of her chosen hardware to make an entirely contemporary statement about the nature of modern pop.
